Christmas is coming soon!
Yes the festive season is fast approaching and we have already been asked to repeat the same successful formula for the Christmas Dinner (including the raffle and quiz which we all enjoyed last year – many thanks girls).
The third Tuesday in December is too close to Christmas for many, so we have booked Tuesday December 14th this year and we hope that this will ensure the best possible attendance for this enjoyable evening.
We have been asked to keep a similar menu etc but now is the time to tell us if you have any special requirements or have suggestions to make things even better. Full details will be circulated after we have left time for any suggestions to come in.
The “big bang” explained (some ramblings by the Keeper) :
You are probably aware that we had to change onto the Backup Rig for a few weeks and this is what happened:-
I had just installed the Auto Reset PCB at Stenbury and fortunately was standing back admiring my handywork when there was a loud bang accompanied by a flash. The lights went out and everything went very silent!
