6) Report on ATV activities in Dorset by Dave (G8AJN)

The repeater (GB3SQ) group are still waiting for the NOV for the repeater. They have been let down by the manufacturer of the Alford slot antennas. An application was put in for digital input on 1244MHz. At the moment there is an analogue input of 1262MHz. The intention is to move to digital input only, with analogue input being a temporary feature. The aim is to have a digital only output on 1304MHz

Between 7pm and 10pm there is a transmit period. The repeater can be activated in 3 seconds with a signal input. For further details on GB3SQ see GB3SQ website

10) Any Other Business

Frank (G0LFI) asked about the possibility of collecting subscriptions via the internet. Apparently this method has been used by the Horndean ARC. There was some discussion and it was decided to stick with the current method, with the addition of a donations button on the BATC website, to be implemented by Paul (M6PJD).
