Minutes of the SCART AGM on Tuesday 20th April 2010
 
PRESENT: Colin (G4KLB), Paul (M6PJD), Jack (M1CHO), John (G0HAT), Peter (2E0DOO)(part), Jim (G0DQH), Frank (G0LFI), Christine (M6UBI), Simon (G0IEY), Julia (G0IUY), John (G4WQZ), Tony (G3KTU), Peter (G3PYB), Howard (G3NZL), Tony (G7OGT), Norman (G3UXR), Dave (2E1EOO), John (M1BAI), Eric (G3KXE), Dave (G8AJN), Ian (G6HNJ) and Antonia (XYL).

There were 18 paid up members present and this met the quorum of 10.
 
1) Chairman and 2) Secretary’s Report by Tony (G7OGT)
 
Tony (G7OGT) thanked everyone for attending. He reported that the membership of 20 was stable from the previous year. Tony (G7OGT) stated that Dave (G0GMK) had passed away during the year and remarked that the good attendance by SCART members at his funeral shows how valued he was as a member of the club and that he will be greatly missed by all.
 
Tony (G7OGT) asked all members to keep him informed directly of changes to e-mail addresses and contact details, which he would pass on to Howard (G3NZL) for distribution of the club newsletter, "In Sync". Copies of "In-Sync" were available at the meeting. 3) Treasurer's Report and proposal for 2009-10 subscription levels, by Frank (G0LFI)
 
Frank (G0LFI) reported on higher expenditure this year due to development work on the repeater (GB3IV). He thanked the Horndean amateur radio club for letting SCART use their stall. He gave thanks for the equipment donated to the SCART club funds.
 
A balance of £1539.35 was reported. Accounts were available for inspection during the meeting.
 
Subscriptions of £20 were proposed by Frank (G0LFI) and seconded by Tony (G7OGT). With no objections this subscription level was carried, for the 2010/11 club year.
