APOLOGIES: Eric (G3KXE), John (M1BAI).

There were 16 paid up members present and this met the quorum of 10.

1) Chairman and 2) Secretary’s Report by Tony (G7OGT)

Tony (G7OGT) began by welcoming all to the meeting. He mentioned the change from two meetings to one meeting per month since 15th July. The meetings are now on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. This had suited people better, particularly those with some distance to travel, and had maintained reasonable attendance.

A drop in membership had occurred with only 20 members this year compared to 26 the previous year. Tony (G7OGT) asked all members to keep him informed directly of changes to e-mail addresses and contact details, which he would pass on to Howard (G3NZL) for distribution of In-Sync.

Tony (G7OGT) thanked Noel (G8GTZ) for another interesting talk about digital TV with emphasis on Freeview and Freesat. He thanked Howard (G3NZL) for the In-Sync club newsletter, Paul (M6PJD) for maintaining the SCART website and Howard (G3NZL)/ (peter 2E0DOO) for organising the Christmas dinner. Tony (G7OGT) also thanked those involved in streaming the GB3IV repeater output which he was able to watch recently during one evening in Derby.

3) Treasurer's Report and proposal for 2009-10 subscription levels, by Frank (G0LFI)

Frank (G0LFI) reported on a good year. Efforts had been made to keep expenditure down. Funds were raised from the annual junk sale at Hamfest Wimborne. Thanks were given to those who donated equipment, and to the Horndean amateur radio club for letting SCART use their stall and helping to sell the equipment.

A healthy balance of £1581.98 was reported, up £154.71 from last year. Accounts were available for inspection during the meeting.

Subscriptions of £20 were proposed by Frank (G0LFI) and seconded by Howard (G3NZL). With no objections this subscription level was carried, for the 2009/10 club year.
